Mastodon Run 4 Scholarships Registration Now Live
FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne's 5th Annual Mastodon Run 4 Scholarships presented by Fort Wayne Orthopedics is now open for registration. The event will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2019, and begins at the Gates Athletic Center Fieldhouse at 9 a.m. MR4S raises funds for Purdue Fort Wayne athletic scholarships. This year is the second running of the Donut 5K with tasty treats provided by Tim Hortons.

Jay Golsteyn Chosen for MIVA Hall of Fame
FORT WAYNE, Ind. ? The Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) announced the league's third Hall of Fame class on Monday (August 20), and former Mastodon Jay Golsteyn was selected. He joins Marv Zimmermann (George Williams), Ken Mattison (George Williams), Keith Thornburgh (Ball State) and Victor Rivera (Lewis).

Registration Opens for Mini Dons
Registration is now open for the free Purdue Fort Wayne Athletics Mini Dons Sports Program for children in grades 1-4. The program features seven sessions, September 9, 16, 23, 30 and October 7, 14 and 21. Each session will run from 6-7 p.m. in the Athletics Center Fieldhouse on Purdue Fort Wayne's campus.

Four Mastodons To Compete in International Volleyball
FORT WAYNE, Ind. - This summer, three current members and one incoming freshman of the Purdue Fort Wayne men's volleyball team are set to play for various international squads this summer. Pelegrin Vargas will play for Puerto Rico in the Pan American Cup, Frederico Santos will play for Portugal in the FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League, and Tomas Gago will play for the Chile in the Pan American Cup. Incoming freshman Rico Wardlow is set to compete for the United States Youth National Training Team.
