August 20, 2019 Jay Golsteyn Chosen for MIVA Hall of Fame Jay 4

FORT WAYNE, Ind. ? The Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) announced the league's third Hall of Fame class on Monday (August 20), and former Mastodon Jay Golsteyn was selected. He joins Marv Zimmerman (George Williams), Ken Mattison (George Williams), Keith Thornburgh (Ball State) and Victor Rivera (Lewis).
August 12, 2019 Registration Opens for Mini Dons Mini Dons

Registration is now open for the free Purdue Fort Wayne Athletics Mini Dons Sports Program for children in grades 1-4. The program features seven sessions, September 9, 16, 23, 30 and October 7, 14 and 21. Each session will run from 6-7 p.m. in the Athletics Center Fieldhouse on Purdue Fort Wayne's campus.

June 18, 2019 Four Mastodons To Compete in International Volleyball International Volleyball

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - This summer, three current members and one incoming freshman of the Purdue Fort Wayne men's volleyball team are set to play for various international squads this summer. Pelegrin Vargas will play for Puerto Rico in the Pan American Cup, Frederico Santos will play for Portugal in the FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League, and Tomas Gago will play for the Chile in the Pan American Cup. Incoming freshman Rico Wardlow is set to compete for the United States Youth National Training Team.

May 27, 2019 Mastodon Alumni Win Gold at USA Volleyball Open National Championships Beam Pineapple

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Eight Purdue Fort Wayne men's volleyball alumni won gold medals at the 2019 USA Volleyball Open National Championships, as Beam Pineapple defeated Hustle N Flow 2-0 in the championship match of the 40-and-Over class. Mastodon alumni Lloy Ball, Loren Gebert, Chris Gisslen, Jeff Ptak, Chris Farmer, Jorge Ralat, Will Robbins, and current Mastodon head coach Ryan "Rock" Perrotte were all on the team that went undefeated over the weekend.
