Lewis, Loyola-Chicago and Ohio State Ranked In Preseason AVCA Poll

Three members of the MIVA conference earned spots in the AVCA Division I-II Coaches preseason poll. After finishing last season ranked sixth in the nation, the Lewis Flyers earned a fifth place ranking. Loyola-Chicago moved up two spots from last season to earn a 10th place ranking and Ohio State rounded out the MIVA conference ranked 11th.

UC Irvine received 16 first-place votes to hold the top spot in the ranking. BYU sits in second and Stanford rounds out the top-three.

Grand Canyon, Lewis and Loyola-Chicago begin the 2013 season on January 4 at the Asics Invitational.
