HAWKS PICKED 7th IN MIVA PRESEASON POLL

(Quincy, Ill.) The Quincy University men's volleyball team has been chosen 7th in the 2010 Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Preseason poll. The Hawks received 10 total points in the seven team league.

Quincy finished 6th last season with a 17-33 overall record and a 0-10 mark in the MIVA. The Hawks return their top three attackers from last season and five of their top six. Leading the way for Quincy is senior Peter Coley, who finished with 272 kills. Quincy opens their 2010 season on January 15th on the road against Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa at 7 p.m.

Ohio State was picked first in the conference and was followed by Ball State, Lewis, Loyola-Chicago, IPFW, Grand Canyon and Quincy.
