Quincy Falls to Pacific, 3-0
(Stockton, Calif.) The Quincy University men's volleyball team dropped their second straight match by the score of 3-0, falling to the University of Pacific on Friday night.
Making a trip out west the Hawks never got their feet under them as they hit just .067 in the match with 22 kills and 17 attack errors. The Hawks fell by the scores of 30-18, 30-24 and 30-23. Quincy managed just six kills in the first set while Pacific pounded out 20 kills.
The final two sets were no different and Pacific nearly doubled Quincy up on the kills in each set, finishing with 14 kills in set two and 17 kills in set three. Pacific ended up hitting .376 as a team with 51 kills and just 13 attack errors.
Joseph Ascher led Quincy with seven kills while Dan Dresen finished with 16 assists. Quincy falls to 2-3 on the season and is in action again on Saturday when they face Pacific at 5 p.m.
