The Bearcats finish the year with an overall record of 11-15 after earning a program best 6-8 record in conference play.

(Lebanon, Ill., April 7) -- The bracket for the 2018 Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association tournament has been set, and the McKendree Bearcats have earned the #6 seed with a conference record of 6-8. They will travel to the #3 seeded Ball State University Cardinals for a quarterfinal match-up next Saturday. The other three quarterfinal contests pit #1 Ohio State against #8 Quincy, #2 Loyola Chicago against #7 Lindenwood and #4 Lewis against #5 Fort Wayne. The MIVA semifinals will take place on Wednesday 18, with the two winners facing each other for the championship on Saturday 21.
(Fort Wayne, Ind., April 7) ? McKendree men's volleyball closed out the regular season with a closely contested three-set loss against the Fort Wayne Mastodons on Saturday night. The Bearcats now have an overall record of 11-14 and finish 6-8 in Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association action.
